Charlie Chaplin back on outside screen

FOCUS ON FARMING

Owing to popular demand, Charlie Chaplin is back on the outside silver screen, at the Silent Movie Festival in Norsewood, from January 13-16, 2022. Many people, who missed the classic art form last season, have asked for it to be played again. These silent movies are performed with two live musicians: a percussionistproviding all the wonderful sound effects, and a pianistsetting the mood with delightful melodies. All silent movies were played this way, in the 1920s. This year, a new movie has been added to the programme. You can make a night of it with dinner from the food trucks, Rush Munro icecream and a local band starting a 7.30pm. The first movie, A Dog’s Life, starts at 9pm, all about the true dedication of a man’s best friend. Then, at 9.45pm, The Kid is showing, a timeless story of a father’s love for his child. At only $10pp, it is a great night out for all the family. Don’t forget to bring your garden chair! Go to eventfinda to book! www.eventfinda.co.nz.
